I have seen a lot of your dresses available on line, are they the same dresses?
No. All our items are only available through our store or another approved stockist. These vary depending on who the designer has chosen to sell their dresses. Any dresses purchased from outside NZ are not covered by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.
Can I take photos during my consultation?
Yes we do allow photos and will assist you to get the best results as we do understand how important this is in helping with choice. We also allow video chats so you can include that special person who is not able to be with you. We do require the usage of the images to be for strictly personal use and not distributed. Copyright does apply to all items in our store.
Is there a charge to try on Wedding Dresses?
No!!! Our consultations are free of charge but do require an appointment, however if on your 3rd consultation you are still not ready to purchase your dress then we reserve the right to charge a $50 appointment fee which is refundable if you purchase your dress in the following 30 days.
Do I need an appointment to look at your bridal gowns?
Yes. All viewing of our bridal gowns are by appointment with one of our specialist bridal stylists. We allow 1 1/2 hours per consultation during the week and if necessary we may limit Saturday appointments to 1 hour.

I have heard about copyright laws, how can this effect me?
If you take a photograph or use the designers photograph to request a person or company to copy this gown then you are breaking the law and risk prosecution. If you purchase from a person/company that is using unauthorized photographs to sell the product, then they are breaking the law. Your dress may not arrive, or it may be very different from the photograph. It will not have the designers labels, so resale is not possible. If you do resell, and use the photograph, then you are breaking the law.
What is the procedure once I have made my choice of dress?
We will measure you, discuss the options of the best size to order for you, and confirm your colour choice. Our standard terms are 50% deposit when you order the dress, and the balance once the dress arrives in store. We do offer payment by EFTPOS, credit card or internet banking. We can also arrange a payment plan for you.
Once I order, how long will it take for my dress to arrive?
Confirmed orders take between 3 to 6 months, depending on the supplier. We will confirm your approximate delivery date at time of order.
Do you have a rush order service?
In some circumstances we can offer a rush order, but this needs to be confirmed on an individual basis and there may be an additional cost. We do offer a selection of “off the rack dresses” especially for the short notice wedding.
Will my dress require alterations?
Yes. 99% of all dresses will require some form of alteration. Normally a small adjustment at the bust and the hem are minimum.
We offer a separate on site alteration service and also have a professional seamstress that we work closely with that will provide you with amazing service and care.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. We guarantee all of our products and all products are covered by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act. We only deal with established and trusted suppliers.. This gives you peace of mind and confidence you will be receiving high standards with consistent product and service delivery.
Why are some online wedding dresses so cheap?
Even though the photo you see on these dubious websites is the same as the photo on our website, or the designers website, these cheap copy gown makers have actually stolen these images and make cheap copy gowns from them. In rare cases your dress may arrive and be okay, but in most cases it is a poor imitation using substandard fabrics, and you have no recourse. Your copy gown may also allow child labour in poor countries overseas. Factories making fake gowns using cheap fabrics cut costs by employing young children in appalling conditions and pay them a pittance if anything. Can you honestly feel special on your wedding day wearing one of these dresses?
