Our $50 Bridal Consultation is for 1.5 hours, you will be welcomed into a private consultation room to enjoy a truly special ‘say yes to the dress’ experience..
Luxe Bridal Consultations is for 2hrs and you are welcome to bring up to 6 of your besties with you. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival, relax and enjoy the extra time to try a wide range of our gowns.

Yes, we do allow photos and will assist you to get the best results as we do understand how important this is in helping with choice. We also allow video chats so you can include that special person who is not able to be with you. We do require the usage of the images to be for strictly personal use and not distributed. Copyright does apply to all items in our store. Please be conscious of our consultants privacy when taking photos.
This is where the fun begins. Prior to your appointment, you’ll pre-select up to five gowns to start your journey, which you’ll send through to us in advance. From there, our experienced consultant will guide you through your appointment, helping you explore a wide selection of beautiful gowns. In the relaxed environment of To Cherish Bridal’s private fitting room, you’ll try on your chosen styles while we work through silhouettes, fabrics, and colours together until we find your perfect dream dress. Bring your maid of honour and the people you trust to share in this special and memorable moment.
Yes. All dresses on the website have a sample in store to view and try on.
Yes you can view our amazing curves collection here, most of our labels make dresses up to size 30. Sizes 30+ can be custom made.
We aim to stock as many popular curvy sample dresses as possible.
Yes! Baby capsules are also welcome instore but please note for health and safety reasons we do not allow strollers, we will do our best to help and ensure that this isn’t an inconvenience for you.
Purchasing
Confirmed orders take between 5 to 8 months, depending on the supplier. We will confirm your approximate delivery date at time of order.
Payments
Our standard payment terms are a 50% deposit when you order the dress, 30% payment when notification of gown is ready to be shipped, and 20% balance on gown arrival in store.. We do offer payment by EFTPOS, credit card or internet banking. Off the rack dresses or sale items require full payment at time of purchase. Other options may be available, please personally discuss your requirements with Alison.
Yes, we offer payment plans, including Afterpay. Discuss your personal requirements with our professional team in store, and we’ll help find the option that works best for you.
Fittings & Alterations
Yes. 99% of all dresses will require some form of alteration. Normally a small adjustment at the bust and the hem are minimum. We do offer an in house alteration team to do this for you.
Usually you need your shoes for all your fittings plus any undergarments and shape wear that you will be wearing on your wedding day. This to ensure a proper fit through your bodice and hemline. Ask your seamstress when making your booking to confirm their requirements.
Usually, brides need 2-3 fittings to ensure their gown is looking perfect.

Yes. We guarantee all our products are covered by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act. We only deal with established and trusted suppliers. This gives you peace of mind and confidence you will be receiving high standards with consistent product and service delivery.
If you take a photograph or use the designers photograph to request a person or company to copy this gown, then you are breaking the law and risk prosecution. If you purchase from a person/company that is using unauthorized photographs to sell the product, then they are breaking the law. Your dress may not arrive, or it may be very different from the photograph. It will not have the designer’s labels, so resale is not possible. If you do resell, and use the photograph, then you are breaking the law.
Even though the photo you see on these dubious websites is the same as the photo on our website, or the designer’s website, these cheap copy gown makers have actually stolen these images and make cheap copy gowns from them. In rare cases your dress may arrive and be okay, but in most cases, it is a poor imitation using substandard fabrics, and you have no recourse. Your copy gown may also allow child labour in poor countries overseas. Factories making fake gowns using cheap fabrics cut costs by employing young children in appalling conditions and pay them a pittance if anything. Can you honestly feel special on your wedding day wearing one of these dresses?
No. All our items are only available through our store or another approved stockist. These vary depending on who the designer has chosen to sell their dresses. Any dresses purchased from outside NZ are not covered by the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.
